Kennel Club qualified assessor for Good Citizen (Bronze 2007, Silver and Gold 2009)

Experience

I have been a member of IDTC since the late 1980s and have previously been:

Building fund committee (1990s)
General Committee Secretary (1996 – 2006)
Vice President (2006 – 2012)
Obedience Show Secretary (2013 – 2022)

I have held the position of President of the IDTC since 2012 and I also do the following:

Newsletter Co-ordinator (since 2013)
Website management (since 2010)
Kennel Club Good Citizen Co-ordinator (since 2001)
Obedience Show Steward (a long time!)

I have been lucky enough to share my life with three Flat Coated Retrievers, one Doberman, a lurcher, a Collie x Labrador and five German Shepherds. 6 were rehomed from various places and ranged from 2 years old to 6 and the others arrived as 8 week old puppies. I no longer compete with my dogs but have taken part in breed, obedience and agility and am now fully immersed in the “admin” side of IDTC.
