Description
**Please note that this course will be held at the field at Le Friquet Garden Centre not the Island dog training club room**
This 6 week course is for all new members and *current members and it comprises of 6 weeks in your Puppy/Newcomers group after which members can choose to continue their training with further classes in either companion obedience, competitive obedience or agility.
A maximum of 8 dogs and handlers attend each course, as it is very important to socialise your puppy with other dogs and people from the outset, which is one reason why the UK Kennel Club introduced this scheme. Courses are run by a minimum of two trainers giving a good ratio of trainers to handlers.
Numbers are limited and courses are very popular, so to save disappointment reserve your place as soon as possible.
When registering two dogs, discount will be applied in your basket. But for you and your puppy to gain maximum benefit, IDTC recommends that only one puppy per family attend each course.
Please note:
The course is to teach basic life skills to puppies but dogs of all ages are welcome. However, as the majority of attendees are puppies the courses are not suitable for dogs which require focused training on dealing with behavioural difficulties. Vaccination Information
To use the clubroom dogs must be vaccinated against Leptospirosis, Distemper, Canine Hepatitis and Parvovirus.
Your puppy/dog must be fully vaccinated before starting the puppy class and proof of vaccination must be shown at your first training class.
Without this information your puppy/dog will not be allowed into the clubroom, but you will be allowed to observe the class.
